Hi, my name’s Diana Kravchenko. I was born in Donetsk, Ukraine. There I graduated from the National University and obtained Master’s Degree in Education. My major is the English Language and Literature. Apart from English, I also speak Russian, Ukrainian, French and a little bit of Italian. Currently, I’m trying to study Mandarin Chinese as well.
I’ve lived in Shanghai for 1 year only, but it was enough for me to fall in love with its people and Chinese culture. I moved here with my husband and our lovely little son. I’m happy to be in such a nice city with my family and enjoy working. Teaching Chinese students is exciting and interesting experience. I also like the fact that I contribute to their dream to get education in Canada. No one should have to miss out on an opportunity because he or she couldn’t afford it. It takes a community to raise a child, and that’s exactly what we’re doing. These are hard-working youths who are fulfilling their highest potential because they were given a chance.
